Welcome to PlateAI ("Company", "we", "our", "us")! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of our website and the PlateAI services (collectively, the "Service"), which use artificial intelligence to enhance food photography. By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activities or actions under your account. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party.
Certain parts of the Service are available only with a paid subscription. You will be billed in advance on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly or yearly). Subscriptions automatically renew under the same conditions unless canceled by you or us. All payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We also offer one-time purchases for additional features, such as permanent image storage slots.
Our service allows you to upload images ("User Content") and generate enhanced versions using AI. You retain full ownership and intellectual property rights to your original User Content. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the AI enhancement features of the Service. We do not claim any ownership rights to the AI-generated images derived from your User Content; you own them, subject to the rights of any underlying third-party models.
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose. You may not upload any content that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, threatening, or otherwise objectionable. You are responsible for ensuring that your User Content does not infringe upon the copyrights or other rights of third parties. We reserve the right to remove content and terminate accounts that violate these terms.
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the operation or availability of the Service or the accuracy of the AI-generated results. Our AI models strive for quality but may occasionally produce unexpected or inaccurate outputs. In no event shall PlateAI be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any new terms take effect by posting them on this page. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
